    Ben,

I have access to Lactoferrin in a capsule form through Nikken. The originator, created the capsule from New Zealand cows. He has documented through his research to be highly effective in creating a “good area for bacteria growth in the GI track”. It is certainly easier than obtaining camel’s milk. I can send you more research info , if you wish. Dr. N created the research design for toxic shock syndrome as well as the bacteria infections in the third world nations.

I am a recently retired physiotherapist and have used functional dry needling since 1989 (in South Africa). I am living in Ontario, Canada and we use a cupping method which is a cross between cupping an ART. It is incredibly effective for helping release tight tissues (ITB, tennis elbow) and does not leave any bruising.

Check out APTEI on YouTube and you will see the technique.

Thank you for your show. It is always stimulating

  3. Susan says:

Yes…this! Such a wonderful podcast. I am a big fan of soft tissue work and when my PT introduced dry needling and scraping, it was a game changer for me (tight calves create big issues for me). Thank you so much to both of you for your time!

  4. John says:

I have this recurring problem where my quads will cramp very early races in obstacle and trail running races. Doesn’t happen all the time, but when it does, it ruins my race. Most recently it happened at mile 1 of the Spartan Beast at Killington. Could Dry Needling possibly work for me?

    Thanks

  5. Just wanted to say, been ages since I heard the podcast, from months of rigorous uni study, sandwich artistry at subway, traffic controlling, an undefeated footy season, and all the other stuff that gets in the way.

Finally had time to cook up a low carb pizza and tune in to this episode. Thanks heaps, was great to hear!
