I've been working my way through the podcasts since about #97. I think this one is the best one so far since #97. I've listened to it two times already. Good stuff. I wish I knew of some doctors out here in San Diego like Dr. Minkoff.

depends. In clinical trials, 25% of folks experienced weight gain, so it's not as consistent as the others.

Hi there, Ben! The transcripts rock! (But that's not why I'm writing...) You mention antidepressants in this podcast and name a few that are known to cause weight gain
-including wellbutrin. Last year I started Wellbutrin; while I'm already tapering off in an effort to discontinue using it, I'd still like clarification...I thought Wellbutrin is specifically not associated with weight gain?

Here is a link to their website page on zyflamend (sorry, I spelled the name wrong in the above post) - http://www.newchapter.com/products/zyflamend

While on the subject of New Chapter, they have a fish oil supplement called Wholemega that is created from the "leftovers" of the salmon that is caught and processed for sale at Whole Foods -- a "sustainable" form of fish oil that not many other companies can match.

Mer, my top recommendation for an alternative to ibuprofen is Phenocane, which is 100% natural with none of the risks: http://www.pacificfit.net/supplements.php#phenoca...

great episode! If you split the podcast I'd vote for separating the questions and the interview into two different casts, not chapters for the very reason you outlined. Follow up to the interview: he talked about a lot of nutrition for wellness, but what are some of those natural anti-inflammatory remedies he was referring to? I hate ibuprofen!

Ben, you asked about splitting the podcast - my personal preference is to leave it the way it is. One thing I like to do, especially with the longer podcast, is to increase the playback speed - I still get all the great info, just without all the waiting. Kinda like high intensity training...

Ben, great podcast as always! I think it would better if you split the podcast into 2 releases and do a Q & A and a interview podcast too.
