Over the next 6 days here at BenGreenfieldFitness.com, in a series of free cooking videos, I want to introduce you to a friend of mine: the talented and highly entertaining Chef Todd Mohr from WebCookingClasses.com, a revolutionary, healthy cooking instructor who I met last week while I was in New York. And at the bottom of this post, I have a special question for you.

Why is Chef Todd Mohr so revolutionary, you ask?

Well, his philosophy on healthy cooking without recipes is totally unique. He has truly changed the way I view cooking and I know it will have the same impact on you.

You see, Chef Todd Mohr believes that most of us don’t really know how to cook!

Sure we can follow a recipe – sometimes, especially if we’ve made it before and figured out its “quirks.” But we don’t really know the techniques we used and, worse yet – we don’t understand the cooking methods that recipes call upon.

Why is this important?

Well…

As Chef Todd explained to me, and talks about in the video above, your cooking methods are EVERYTHING in Cooking!

Understanding how things work and why things happen will change the way you cook forever. And so, over the next 6 days, I will be releasing a series of videos from Chef Todd Mohr that will teach you and enable you, among other things, to:

* Create awesome meals at home with whatever you’ve got on hand

* Cook quickly and easily, with confidence

* “Fix” recipes that don’t come out to your liking

* Apply quick fixes to dishes WHILE you are cooking, so there are no “mess-ups”,”do-overs” or wasted food.

* Make up YOUR OWN recipes

Chef Todd Mohr has even developed an entire cooking system based on this philosophy and this system has thought thousands of people around the world to cook! If you want to know more about Chef Todd, click here to, then watch the free video above, then also check out this free video, where Todd reveals his #1 Chef Secret for Creating Amazing Meals at Home.

I think you’ll agree that this is going to be a great series of videos this week with Chef Todd. In case you can’t see the video at the top of this post, just click here to open it in a new window.

This guy is just like my sister, I on the other hand have to follow a cookbook. I look forward to hearing more from Chef Todd.

Hey Ben, in terms of how to approach him, I would provide him with the Holistic Nutrition grocery list (i.e. avacado, almond butter, lean protein like turkey or grass-fed beef, leafy green vegetables, nuts, coconut and olive oils etc.) and challenge him to create meals using these foods. These are the staples that are in the kitchen every week.

I personally would like to know what spices work best, and which ones go together when cooking off-book.
