On this Monday, November 22, Ben Greenfield will be sitting down in front of a video camera and recording his Official Thanksgiving Fitness Survival Guide.

And by Wednesday, this video will be available for you to watch and learn how not to sabotage fat loss and fitness during Thanksgiving. The video will also be full of tips and tricks that you can use during the entire holiday season, not just during Thanksgiving!

***But Ben needs your help.***

In the video, he’s going to be answering the TOP TEN questions that he receives about Thanksgiving nutrition and fitness. Questions such as…

“Is it better to exercise before or after a big meal?”

and

“Is it bad for my metabolism if I don’t eat anything all day, then eat a super big meal at the end of the day?”

So…if you have a question that you want answered in the Official Thanksgiving Fitness Survival Guide, just leave it in a comment below! You must ask your question by Monday at noon, Pacific time.

And be sure to check back Wednesday for Ben’s Official Thanksgiving Fitness Survival Guide, or even better yet, subscribe to the free newsletter on the right side of this page, and we’ll let you know when the video is released!

Hey Ben,

Two questions regarding food choices around the holidays:

1. Lots of us go to restaurants during this time. Any suggestions on how to make the best choices when eating in restaurants without looking too anal-retentive around your in-laws?

2. Along the same lines, attending dinners at others’ house involves eating meals that others prepare. Any suggestions on how to enjoy a holiday meal when much of the food is laden with sugars (think candied vegetables; a classic in my family), bad fats, etc. without causing a scene?

Thanks, Ben. Even though we have been through Thanksgiving in Canada, December holidays are right around the corner!

1) What foods are the best to eat at Thanksgiving?
2) Is it better to exercise before a big meal so that way the food is better absorbed because insulin is high?
Thanks Ben!

Are mashed potatoes really bad for you? Because they’re really good.

1. Invited to 5 dinners so far between now and
December 15th. How do you not offend the hostess if you wish to not partake in the meal, but wish to partake in the festivities?

If you know you’ll unavoidably going to gorge yourself for TG dinner, is it advisable to eat a medium-large breakfast, next to nothing (maybe a piece of fruit, or a handful of homemade trail mix) as lunch, and then go crazy at dinner?

Btw, I found the office workout really creative and simple. Can you also suggest a similar workout of 5-10 mins to survive TG? Also, is it more beneficial prior to TG dinner, or after?
